Missed posting yesterday. I really wanted to, but with the utter busyness of Sunday and still not getting enough done with one hour lost, it spilled over to Monday. Today hasn’t been much better. There’s always a lot to do with a baby around and add a mischievous dog, the hours slip away like water through your hand.
No, Starla was not a good dog today. Most days she’s good, but today was not one of them. In order to have her enjoy the nice weather a bit more, I got a twenty foot tether which I anchored to part of the garage where I was working. I thought I could let her roam around a bit outside while it was nice and keep an eye on her the same time. She was more clever than I as she ate through the harness we bought for her and was a free dog for the next forty five minutes as I fruitlessly chased her around the neighborhood. Needless to say, I was in an atrocious mood after the event. Still love my dog, but she pushed my limits today.
In order to restore a more fond memory, here’s a picture I took of her yesterday at her cutest. A mid-size dog who apparently is compensating for something. I can’t believe she tried to even come in the door, but hey, when you’re proud of a trophy…
